Isn’t my grandbaby Illia the cutest? She has brought so much joy to our lives!
Lately I have been reflective of the different seasons of life that I have been through. Let’s just start with the fact that I am of the menopause age! YIKES! There’s a whole lot to that and a whole other blog post for that topic. Looking back on the last ten years, there were amazing things and really really tough things our family has gone through. Every family goes through different seasons of life, but how you navigate those together makes a difference in your marriage and your kids’ lives. I’m not saying we did everything perfectly, but we did it all with unconditional love for each other. I think that is all that God asks of us. Love one another throughout anything life brings. It can either make you stronger or tear you down. I chose optimism, strength, and positivity, to trust God and stay true to my values.
God put some big plans in my heart back in 2020 and I embraced those, nurtured them, enjoyed the process but the end result wasn’t what I had imagined. It’s so easy to say, it’s all in God’s plans what the outcome is, but to be honest, it is hard to move forward with that dream once you have encountered failure. I took a two year sabbatical from social media, creating content, enjoying my passion of encouraging other women. After those two years, I feel God is tapping me on the shoulder saying, we really need the encouragement now more than ever but do it differently this time. Do it for me, not for you! So, here I am, ready to feel some magic in life again through creativity and encouragement. I hope you will join me in whatever stage of life you are in. It’s definitely not as fun to do life without your kindred community. Let’s share our vulnerability and our stories!
